Michael P. Jr.
Michael P, J.r. is a visual artist primarily focused on metal and wire. Graduating with a sculpture degree from VCU, he combines the fields of biology, art, and engineering into his work to develop curious and playful sculptures. In his formidable years, his artwork served as fidgets to stay focused in class and connect with others. This continues to fuel his practice today as he aims to encourage play and curiosity with every piece he creates exploring perspective, form, and themes of permission from others and oneβs self.
