My piece focuses on the mental hardship and physical pain in response to one’s own doings, while also forgiving the self in the end. Telling the importance of life and responsibility but also showing how unserious life can be and how in the end “time laughs its ass off.” It is here that I tell myself that everything will be okay–despite the present turmoil I am faced with–whether that be a hemorrhoid, the chaos of overthinking the past and present, the want to stay in the dream, and being irresponsible. After all you “might as well live” when faced with such hardships.
