Front Porch is a recreation of one of my family photos that celebrates childhood memories and the intimate dynamics of family life. The piece honors the warmth, connection, and everyday moments that shape our sense of home and belonging.
This piece honors and celebrates oral tradition in everyday rituals that become sacred spaces for learning, bonding, and ancestral knowledge. Griot is both a celebration and a remembrance of elders, and culture.
