Katie (Magician) Macyshyn (they/she) is a performance artiste and experiential art practitioner serving collaborative new media art, including wearables, installation, performance, and video. Their work is frequently shown at DIY venues and gallery exhibitions alike; including Arlington Arts Center (VA), VisArts (MD), and the Corcoran Gallery of Art (DC). She is also an art instructor and songstrix who specializes in the therapeutic benefits of creative play in early childhood. Macyshyn holds a BFA from the Corcoran School of the Arts & Design at George Washington University. They live in the DC metro area and are from Toms River, NJ.
