Diane D'Costa
Diane D'Costa is an artist, educator, and organizer based in Washington DC. Through her work and practice, she fosters creative community for learning and development, growth and liberation. Originally from Laurel, Maryland, she is a DMV kid through and through and draws inspiration from the rich culture of the region as well as her own identities. She was previously an educator and is inspired by youth to dream of a more just world. As a mixed, Queer woman, her work explores themes of identity, healing, love, and belonging. She currently works out of District Clay Center as a community artist and teacher.
