Ash Newton (they/them) is a rising Junior at the University of Maryland studying journalism with a focus on arts and music reporting.  They are also a member of the Jimenez-Porter Writers' House, a living and learning program that provides young writers with training and experience in fiction, poetry and screenwriting. They are a staff writer at 4th Wall Magazine and a news intern at Montgomery Community Media. Their work has also appeared in Source of the Spring, the Montgomery Sentinel and Haus Magazine.
