Queer Altars
Metal, Large Altar: 24” x 12”, Installation: 8 feet x 6 feet
Queer Altars is a series that reimagines Catholic altars as a way to honor the LGBTQ+ community. There are altars of both individuals who lost their lives to gun violence, and altars of those of us who remain. The pieces are made from melted weapons.
