Maps Glover
Maps Glover is a multidisciplinary artist and cultural strategist based in Washington, D.C. His work blends drawing, performance, video, and installation to explore Black identity, ritual, and futurism. Known for activating both institutional and DIY spaces, Glover uses satire, storytelling, and immersive environments to challenge systems of power and amplify marginalized voices. His practice bridges the political and poetic, often unfolding in community settings that prioritize accessibility and collaboration. With roots in Black expressive traditions and a vision for radical futures, Glover creates work that invites reflection, transformation, and a reimagining of how we see ourselves and each other.
