AnaMarie V. King
AnaMarie King is an emerging, originally self-taught, multi-media artist. King has obtained a degree in photography at American University (2024). Experimentation, play, and collaboration drives her photo practice and contributions to social ventures. King experienced organizing public-facing, accessible and interactive community experiences meant to inspire creativity and center marginalized perspectives. King disrupts the accepted functions of class, gender roles, age, race, and heteronormativity that constrain society. King has exhibited at a variety of art spaces in the DC Metro Area, and is co-curator of MidMountain Arts in Rockbridge County Virginia.
